COMMITTED TO FIGHT AVOIDABLE BLINDNESS

Help us to make the world a better place, where all children can live, grow and thrive.

A CLEAR VISION FOR THE FUTURE

L'OCCITANE prides itself on making high-quality products that engage all the sense, but we are also committed to preserve one of these precious senses : vision.

We've had eye care in our sights for the past two decades, since our founder Olivier Baussan first decided to put Braille on our lbals in 1997. Since 2000, L'OCCITANE has enabled access to eye care to those in need.

PREVENT RISK OF BLINDNESS FOR 1,7 MILLION CHILDREN

80% of visual impairments can be avoided or treated by ensuring a sufficient intake of vitamin A. In fact, vitamin A deficiency is one of the main causes of childhood blindness. One out of three children under the age of five is affected by vitamin A deficiency.

L'Occitane is determined to help improve the prevention of childhood blindness around the world, by supporting UNICEF's vitamin A supplementation programs.

LET'S MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

Every year, since 2000, L'OCCITANE has sold a new fund-raising product. The profits** from this product are used to help combat blindness by making ophthalmological care more accessible to the poorest segments of the population.

To date, we have helped over five million people…and we're not stopping there!
Our new challenge is to help 10 million people to benefit from a quality eye care by 2020 -  "10by20" goal.
